From "meh" to "heck, yeah" and beyond

This from William Zinsser: “You learn to write by writing. It’s a truism, but what makes it a truism is that it’s true. The only way to learn to write is to force yourself to produce a certain number of words on a regular basis.”

Put numerically, consider these three rules of writing success:

  1. Write more: morning, afternoon, evening, any of the above, all of the above.
  2. Rewrite more: it will turn your meh into heck, yeah.
  3. Rewrite your rewrites more: it will turn your heck, yeah into yes, just yes.

This is all doable. So let’s all do it.
